Spring 2020 Digital Learning Initiative
A fundraising campaign was implemented by the newly formed Mount Vernon Educational Foundation. Distance learning became essential due to COVID-19 and a broad network of supporters donated over $35,000 to the Foundation for our Digital Learning Initiative. Through the generosity of our donors, 120 laptops were provided to students in the Mount Vernon City School District. These devices have been instrumental to the learning success of our students as the school year opened with remote learning.
